Happy Sunday night everyone!!!
This blog post is a bit different in that I included some older photos where I'm wearing some of my favorite cross necklaces.
The Vogue 1988 cover where model Michaela Bercu is wearing a pair of faded $50 jeans paired with a $10,000.00 Christian Lacroix jeweled top is one of my all time favorites!!! It was the first time a model wore jeans on a Vogue cover and Anna Wintour's first Vogue cover as editor in chief. I loved the pairing of jeans with the amazing top; it was the beginning of my love for the high/low mixing in fashion. Kate Moss is well known for this along with Mary Kate Olsen. I love mixing vintage with high end designer pieces to make a look my own.
I love collecting beautiful, unique cross necklaces. I included a few photos in this post of some of the cross necklaces I own and how I wear them. In June 2011 I had a small, black, gothic style cross tattooed on the inside of my left ankle; I absolutely love it.

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!! My husband surprised me and bought me a fabulous black/silver bracelet at Chrome Hearts. It is one of my favorite boutiques- I've been collecting the jewelry for awhile.
I have been finding so many great vintage separates: a YSL silk dress, a Ann Demeulemeester knit top, a 70's denim vest with patches, & a leather & mink coat. I love to mix vintage and new separates together. Kate Moss is a genius at this!!! I am a major admirer of her amazing style!!!
I mentioned Carolyn Bessette Kennedy in one of the photos I posted above. I have always loved Carolyn's beautiful, simple, minimalist style. It is such a tragedy she died in a plane crash with her husband JFK Jr. They were such a gorgeous couple with extraordinary style!!! My outfit in the photo was inspired by CBK- all black with leopard heels.
